1. These terms and our service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to the DocMe Sign website and application at docmesign.com. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you use DocMe Sign for a business or organization, you represent that you are authorized to act on its behalf. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
DocMe Sign is in an early release. Current functionality includes accounts, organization branding, custom-domain requests, PDF document preparation, recipient-assigned fields, and typed-name electronic signing with a downloadable PDF and signing record. Google Docs imports require separate Google authorization and configured Picker access. Automated recipient email delivery is not enabled; administrators share signing links themselves. A feature description or roadmap does not guarantee its availability or release date.
2. Accounts and eligibility
You must be legally able to enter into these Terms and have permission to use the service for your organization. Provide accurate account information, protect your credentials, and use only accounts you are authorized to access. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account, except to the extent applicable law provides otherwise. Notify dev-admin@docmesign.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
Third-party sign-in is subject to the relevant provider’s terms and availability. Creating an account does not grant access to another organization’s workspace.
3. Organizations and custom domains
Organization owners and administrators are responsible for the information they submit and the access they authorize. You must have the right to use any organization name, branding, or domain you provide.
Submitting a custom-domain request does not activate the domain, register it, or transfer its ownership. Connection requires platform provisioning, the domain-specific DNS records returned by the hosting provider, verification, and a valid certificate. You remain responsible for your domain registration and DNS configuration. The main DocMe Sign workspace is intended to remain accessible separately from customer domains, subject to service availability.
4. Acceptable use
You must not use the service to violate law or another person’s rights; impersonate others; submit information you are not entitled to use; distribute malicious code; attempt to access another organization’s data; bypass authentication or access controls; interfere with the service; or conduct unauthorized security testing. Only share documents with recipients you are authorized to invite. A domain request alone does not create or complete a signing workflow.
5. Your information and content
You retain your rights in information and content you provide. You authorize us and our infrastructure providers to host, process, and display that information only as needed to operate, protect, and support the service, comply with law, and carry out your instructions. You are responsible for having the permissions needed to provide it.
Administrators are responsible for reviewing document contents and field placements and entering the intended recipient’s correct email. Candidates must use a verified account matching that address to view and sign. Candidates choose their own field entries and explicitly confirm their intent to sign. A typed signature and account access do not independently establish a person’s legal identity. You are responsible for determining whether electronic signing is appropriate and sufficient for your agreement. Additional terms or disclosures may apply as capabilities develop. Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled.
6. Our intellectual property
DocMe Sign and its licensors retain their rights in the service, software, design, and branding, except for your content and any rights granted under applicable open-source licenses. These Terms permit you to use the service as offered; they do not transfer ownership of our intellectual property or authorize use of our branding in a misleading way.
7. Third-party services
DocMe Sign relies on third-party infrastructure, including Supabase and Railway, and may offer Google sign-in. Third-party services are subject to their own terms, policies, and availability. A third-party outage or a change in its permissions may affect related functionality.
8. Fees and future plans
The current release does not implement usage-based billing or metering. If paid plans or chargeable features are introduced, their pricing and payment terms will be disclosed before you choose them. These Terms alone do not authorize an undisclosed charge.
9. Availability and changes
We may maintain, update, change, or discontinue features. Early-release features may have interruptions or errors. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or that every requested integration or domain can be supported. Where practical and appropriate, we will provide notice of changes that materially affect existing use. You should retain independent copies of information important to your business.
10. Suspension and ending use
You may stop using the service at any time. To request account deletion, contact dev-admin@docmesign.com. We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to address a security risk, unlawful activity, a material violation of these Terms, or a legal requirement. Where appropriate, we will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue.
Ending account access does not necessarily remove organization information that other authorized members continue to use. Deletion and retention are handled as described in the Privacy Policy and applicable law.
11. Disclaimers and responsibility
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the early-release service is provided on an “as available” basis without additional warranties about fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted operation, or error-free results. DocMe Sign does not provide legal advice, and a typed-name electronic signature is not a certificate-based digital signature, an independent identity check, or a guarantee that an agreement is legally enforceable in every circumstance.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, or removes mandatory rights you may have. Each party remains responsible for its obligations under applicable law.
12. Updates and contact
We may update these Terms as the service develops. The updated date will appear above, and we will provide notice or obtain agreement where required by applicable law. Changes will not override mandatory legal rights.
For questions about these Terms or your account, contact dev-admin@docmesign.com. You can return to the home page or read our Privacy Policy at any time.
